The poet calls the science cold and brief because it has no emotions. Science does not look anything with spiritual point of view. It is also brief because its thoughts and working area is limited. Science can observe anything externally but it cannot see the invisible forms of the objects.
कवि विज्ञान को संक्षिप्त तथा रूखी कहता है क्योंकि इसमें भावनाएँ नहीं होती हैं। विज्ञान किसी भी चीज को अध्यात्म के नजरिये से नहीं देखता है। यह संक्षिप्त भी है क्योंकि इसकी विचारधारा व कार्यक्षेत्र सीमित है। विज्ञान किसी भी चीज को बाहरी तौर पर देख सकता है लेकिन यह वस्तुओं के अदृश्य स्वरूप को नहीं देख पाता है।
