When it was Saturday, the students felt very happy because they were not given homework. The dayscholars had breakfast with boarders. The boys felt pleasure when they heard the clatter of plates and knives, forks, spoons, cups and saucers. They had different types of breakfast on every Saturday. The class started late on this day. Miss Moss gave three coloured action postcards to the best readers. It was a very exciting period for the boys. At last they had English which wound up Saturday morning. On Saturdays, they all went to the library also.
जब शनिवार का दिन आता था तो विद्यार्थी प्रसन्नता अनुभव करते थे क्योंकि उन्हें गृहकार्य नहीं मिलता था। बाहर से आने वाले छात्रों को छात्रावास के छात्रों के साथ नाश्ता करना होता था। लड़के उस समय बहुत प्रसन्न होते थे जब वे प्लेटों, चाकुओं, काँटों, चम्मचों और तश्तरियों की खड़खड़ाहट सुनते थे। उन्हें प्रत्येक शनिवार को भिन्न प्रकार का नाश्ता मिलता था। इस दिन कक्षा भी विलम्ब से आरम्भ होती थी। मिस मॉस, श्रेष्ठ पढ़ने वाले तीन विद्यार्थियों को रंगीन पोस्टकार्ड देती थी। यह कालांश छात्रों के लिये अति रोमांचकारी होता था। सबसे अन्त में अंग्रेजी की कक्षा चलती थी और इसी के साथ शनिवार की सुबह का कार्य पूर्ण हो जाता था। शनिवार को सब अन्त में पुस्तकालय में भी जाते थे।
