Best answer

Since AD is the median of ∆ABC

ar (∆ADC) = 1/2 ar (∆ABC)

= 1/2 x 184 = 92 sq. unit.

Again E is the mid-point of side AD.

CE divides AADC into two parts equal in area.

area ∆DEC = 1/2(ar ∆ADC)

= 1/2 x 92 = 46 sq. unit.
