Correct Answer - Option 2 : 10

Given –

 Candidate attempt only 8 questions

Explanation-

Let the marks of each question is 10

Total marks got by the candidate = 8 × (50% of 10) = 8 × 5 = 40 marks

According to question, he obtained total of 40% marks

So, 40% = 40 marks

⇒ 100% = 100 marks

Total marks of the test = 100

⇒ Total number of questions = 100 / 10 = 10

∴ The require answer is 10
