Object or purpose plays an important role in the life of human being because after making an object the hope develops and the expectation insists a man to do work and this action leads him towards the object of life and a particular object shows us the right direction to proceed to make our life easy and successful. In this way there must be perfect object or purpose to live a perfect life because without object we cannot do anything such as the poet is unoccupied because he has not made any particular target of his life.
मानव जीवन में लक्ष्य अथवा उद्देश्य की महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका है क्योंकि लक्ष्य निर्धारित होने के पश्चात् आशा विकसित होती है और आशा मनुष्य को कार्य करने के लिए बाध्य करती है और यह कार्य जीवन के लक्ष्य की ओर ले जाता है और एक निश्चित लक्ष्य जीवन को सही दिशा प्रदान करता है जिससे कि जीवन आसान व सफल हो जाता है। इसलिए सफल जीवन जीने के लिए लक्ष्य अनिवार्य है क्योंकि बिना उद्देश्य के हम कोई कार्य नहीं कर सकते हैं। जैसेकि कवि निष्क्रिय है क्योंकि उसने अपने जीवन का कोई निश्चित लक्ष्य निर्धारित नहीं किया है।
