Hazards or risks are indispensable parts of our life. “No risk no gain,” is truly said. We must not think too much what people will say about our daring actions. Risks must be taken. They provide us with opportunities and experiences. The greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. A person who risks nothing achieves nothing and becomes nothing. If we try to avoid sufferings and sorrows, we can’t learn, feel, change, grow or love in life. Only a person who risks is a truly free person.
जोखिम और आपदा हमारे जीवन के आवश्यक भाग हैं। ‘जोखिम नहीं तो लाभ नहीं’–यह सही कहा गया है। हमें कुछ बात पर बहुत अधिक नहीं सोचना चाहिए कि लोग हमारे इस साहसिक कार्यों पर क्या सोचते हैं। जोखिम अवश्य ही उठाए जाने चाहिए। ये हमें अवसर तथा अनुभव प्रदान करते हैं। जीवन में सबसे बड़ी जोखिम कोई जोखिम नहीं उठाना है। जो व्यक्ति जोखिम नहीं उठाता वो कुछ नहीं कर पाता तथा जीवन में कुछ नहीं बन पाता। यदि हम दुख, तकलीफों की अनदेखी करते हैं तो न तो हम कुछ सीख सकते हैं न अनुभव कर सकते हैं, न परिवर्तन कर सकते हैं और न ही हम जीवन में विकास और प्यार पा सकते हैं। केवल वही व्यक्ति जो जोखिम लेता है, सच्चे अर्थों में स्वतंत्र व्यक्ति है।
