Best answer

√3 x2 + 10x – 8√3 = 0

Compare given equation with the general form of quadratic equation, which is ax2 + bx + c = 0

a = √3, b = 10 , c = – 8√3

Find Discriminant:

D = b2 – 4ac

= (10)2 – 4 x √3 x – 8√3

= 100 + 96

= 196 > 0

Roots of equation are real.

Find roots:

Roots are:

x = 2√3/3 or x = -4√3
