Educational Problems in Rural Area
A child is born with talents. Education awakens and develops those talents. Only then the child becomes a useful citizen. But, in our villages, children are deprived of such an essential need. In most of the small villages, some primary schools are single-teacher schools. If the teacher is on leave, the school is locked.
Poor parents have more interest in the earning of their children and not in their education. Awakened parents do want to send their children to schools in the neighbouring areas. The girls have no safety. They are molested. Most of the parents are illiterate. So children cannot study at home. Most of the villagers are too poor to send their children to residential schools.
Dishonest politicians flourish on the budget meant for education. Children go to school in the greed of mid-day meal.
बच्चा प्रतिभायें लेकर पैदा होता है, शिक्षा इन प्रतिभाओं को जगाती हैं और उन्नत करती हैं। और तभी बच्चा एक लाभदायक नागरिक बनता है। परन्तु हमारे गांवों में बच्चे इस अतिआवश्यक आवश्यकता से वंचित रहते हैं। अधिकांश छोटे गांवों में कुछ प्रारम्भिक एकल-शिक्षक स्कूल हैं। यदि शिक्षक छुट्टी पर रहता है तो स्कूल में ताला लग जाता
निर्धन माता पिता को बच्चों की कमाई में अधिक रुचि है न कि उनकी शिक्षा में। गिने चुने जागरूक माता पिता अपने बच्चों को आस-पास के क्षेत्र के स्कूलों में भेजना चाहते हैं। लड़कियों की कोई सुरक्षा नहीं है। उन पर गन्दी फब्तियाँ कसी जाती हैं या उन के साथ छेड़छाड़ की जाती है। अधिकांश माता-पिता अशिक्षित हैं। अत: बच्चे घरों पर नहीं पढ़ सकते। अधिकांश माता-पिता इतने निर्धन हैं कि वे अपने बच्चों को रिहायशी स्कूलों में नहीं भेज सकते।। शिक्षा के लिये जो धन सुनिश्चित किया जाता है, बेईमान राजनीतिज्ञ उस पर स्वंय फूलते हैं। बच्चे मध्यान्ह के भोजन के लालच में विद्यालय जाते हैं।
